Abdulhamid’s Development Move

II. Abdülhamid Khan made significant moves in various fields to strengthen the Ottoman Empire during its weakest period. He implemented reforms in military, commercial, health, transportation, education, culture, industry, and energy sectors. These reforms stimulated economic growth and placed the Ottoman Empire among the top 10 fastest-growing economies in the world. The institutions he established laid the foundations of the Republic of Turkey. If he had not been hindered, he would have implemented more projects and advanced the Ottoman civilization further.
