Hatice Tarhan Sultana

Hatice Tarhan Sultana was the strongest pillar of the Ottoman Empire in her lifetime. She is a sultana who came to the rescue in the difficult times of the state and raised Mehmed the Fourth in her arms. Her contemporaries recognized her as an epitome of chastity. It is not possible to calculate her charities that serve humanity. She is the one who saved the honor of Istanbul by building the Çanakkale fortifications. In addition, her charity works on the way to the Kaaba and the unique mosque in Istanbul can be seen. There has never been another Sultana in history to whom such greatness has been bestowed.
